Gamejus is firmly committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and users ("you" or "your") and the personal data you entrust to us. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, how long we retain it, and to whom it may be disclosed.

"Personal Information" means information about an identifiable individual and includes information you have provided to us or that we have collected from other sources, including without limitation your name, address, date of birth, gender, financial records, and identification numbers, to the extent permitted by applicable laws.

This Privacy Policy governs your use of the Platform at www.gamejus.com and any other websites or applications owned or operated by Gamejus that reference this Privacy Policy. By accessing, using, or registering on the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Gamejus serves users globally and is committed to complying with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia, as well as all other applicable data protection laws in the jurisdictions where our users are located.

Where it is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you to provide and deliver our Services;
Where it is necessary to comply with legal obligations we are subject to (including AML, KYC, and tax obligations);

3.1 Information You Provide Directly

Retention Principle: Personal data is not retained longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

For users located outside Malaysia, we process your personal data in accordance with the applicable data protection laws of your jurisdiction to the extent required by law.

7. Children's Privacy

Protecting the privacy of minors is a priority for Gamejus.

We do not knowingly market to, or collect personal data from, children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental or guardian consent.
For users aged 13 to 17 (or below the Legal Age in their jurisdiction), we require parental or guardian consent prior to account registration and use of the Services.
In jurisdictions where the minimum age for valid consent to data processing is higher than 13, we will comply with those higher age thresholds as required by local law.
If a parent or guardian discloses personal data of a child in their care to us, they hereby consent to the processing of that child's personal data and accept this Policy on behalf of the child.

Gamejus is required by applicable law to conduct KYC verification to prevent fraud, money laundering, and terrorist financing. As part of this process:

KYC data is processed and stored securely and used solely for verification and compliance purposes.
Verified user data may be shared with regulatory authorities, law enforcement, or third-party compliance service providers where required by law.
KYC data is retained for the minimum period required under applicable AML and CTF regulations, which may extend beyond the termination of your Account.

9.4 Affiliates

We may share your information with our affiliates (including parent companies, subsidiaries, joint ventures, and entities under common control), in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy.

9.5 Fraud Prevention, Payment Security, and Dispute Resolution

We may process, analyze, and share your transaction data, device information, account activity, payment details, and identity verification information for the purposes of fraud detection and prevention, payment security, chargeback handling and representment, refund eligibility assessment, abuse and promotion-abuse prevention, risk scoring, and dispute resolution. For these purposes, relevant information may be shared with: Payment processors, acquiring banks, card networks, and financial institutions;

Third-party fraud prevention and risk management vendors;
Game publishers, developers, and platform partners (for example, to verify top-up delivery or investigate suspicious redemptions);
Law enforcement agencies and regulatory authorities where necessary or required by law.

Such processing is necessary for our legitimate interests in protecting the Platform, our users, and our payment ecosystem from fraud and abuse, and in defending against unjustified payment disputes. Information shared for these purposes is limited to what is reasonably necessary, and recipients are required to handle it in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

10. International Transfer of Data

Gamejus operates internationally and your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including jurisdictions where Gamejus or its service providers operate.

We take steps to ensure that overseas recipients provide a standard of protection to personal data that is comparable to the protections under applicable data protection laws.
For Malaysian users, we comply with the cross-border data transfer requirements under the PDPA and will only transfer personal data outside Malaysia in accordance with applicable PDPA provisions.
You accept and understand that we may store your data in different countries depending on applicable data localisation regulations.

11. How Long We Store Your Data

We retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and processed, or for as long as required or permitted by applicable law.

Account data is retained for the duration of your Account and for a reasonable period thereafter to facilitate re-activation, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.
Transaction records are retained in accordance with applicable tax, financial, and AML/CTF regulations, which may require retention for up to 7 years or longer.
KYC and identity verification data is retained for the minimum period required by applicable AML/CTF laws.
If you terminate your Account, all personal data will be deleted unless retention is required by legal process or other legitimate reason as Gamejus deems necessary.
If you withdraw consent for processing of a child's personal data, we will delete that data promptly.
If you object to processing of your personal data, we will delete or restrict your data within a reasonable period, unless we are required by law to retain it.

12. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the following rights in respect of your personal data:

Right to Access: To request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to Correction: To request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data held about you. Correction requests will be processed within the timeframes prescribed by applicable data protection laws.
Right to Erasure: To request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal retention obligations.
Right to Restrict Processing: To request that we limit the processing of your data in certain circumstances.
Right to Object: To object to processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes at any time.
Right to Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on your consent, to withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

13. Withdrawing Consent and Accessing Your Data

13.1 Withdrawing Consent

To withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data, you may contact us at support@gamejus.com. You may also withdraw consent by deleting your Account through Account Settings. Please note that withdrawal of consent may affect your ability to continue using the Platform and Services, and Gamejus may terminate its agreement with you as a result.

13.2 Requesting Access and Correction

If you have an Account, you may access your personal data currently in our possession by visiting the My Account section of the Platform. Alternatively, you may submit a written request for access or correction of your personal data by contacting us at support@gamejus.com. We will require sufficient information to verify your identity before processing any such request.

14. Privacy and Security

Gamejus implements appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, accidental loss, alteration, or disclosure. These include:

Encryption of data in transit using SSL/TLS protocols;
Firewalls and intrusion detection systems;
Access controls and multi-factor authentication requirements;
Regular security assessments and vulnerability reviews;
Staff training on data protection obligations.

Both Gamejus and you share a role in protecting against online fraud. You must not knowingly or accidentally share, provide, or facilitate unauthorized use of your Account credentials (including your User ID, password, and any security codes). Do not allow others to access your Account.

If you click a link to a third-party site, you will be leaving the Platform. Gamejus does not control or endorse the content or privacy practices of third-party sites.

14.1 Personal Data Breach Response

In the event of a personal data breach affecting your personal data, Gamejus will:

Take reasonable steps to promptly contain, assess, and remediate the breach;
Notify the relevant regulatory authorities where required by applicable law, within the timeframes prescribed by such law;
Notify affected users without undue delay where the breach is likely to result in a significant risk of harm to their rights, using the contact details registered to their Account. Notification may be made by email, Platform notice, or other reasonable means.

You acknowledge and agree that:

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and Gamejus cannot guarantee absolute security of your personal data despite implementing reasonable safeguards;
Gamejus shall not be liable for any breach, loss, or unauthorized access to personal data arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, including sophisticated cyberattacks, third-party service provider failures, or your own failure to secure your Account credentials;
Your remedies in connection with any personal data breach shall be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law, and the limitation of liability provisions in our Terms and Conditions shall apply;
Timely notification by Gamejus in accordance with this clause shall constitute fulfilment of its notification obligations, and Gamejus shall not be responsible for delays in you receiving notification due to outdated contact details in your Account.

15. Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through or in connection with the Platform.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Gamejus reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email and/or by posting a notice on the Platform. All changes will be effective when posted. Your continued use of the Platform after any such change constitutes your acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, the updated Privacy Policy.
