Cissia Build Guide (Zenless Zone Zero): W-Engines, Mindscape & Team Setup Recommendations

(Info Updated on 30 March 2026)

Cissia is an Attack unit in Zenless Zone Zero. Build her with Dawn's Bloom (4pcs) and Swing Jazz (2pcs), with her BiS W-Engine Serpentine Seeker for better damage output.

Blog image

Cissia is a DPS unit with some utilities that typically benefits Electric Attack teams. Her off-field attack deals a great amount of Daze, while she innately provides Electric DMG DEF ignore, teamwide Crit DMG boost and quick assists. Among the available Electric Attack units, Seed in particular synergizes the best with Cissia. While she isn't a strong versatile unit, she is still a nice-to-have option to go for, especially if you have units like Seed.

1. Build Guide: Role, Mechanics & Team Use

Character Introduction

Cissia is an Electric Attack agent from the Metropolitan Order Division faction.

Role & Mechanics

Cissia is a DPS with utilities. She provides Electric DMG DEF ignore, teamwide Crit DMG boost, and quick assists. Her Corrode Bone attacks not only deal decent damage, but also decent amount of Daze as well, making her a pseudo-Stun unit. Due to her utilities, she is often played as a sub DPS, while main DPS playstyle is still an option.

Meta Relevance

Cissia is only viable in Electric Attack teams, in endgame stages that favor either Electric type or double Attack team comps, Cissia would only then see more action.

Pros & Cons

Cissia, with her easy playstyle, provides consistent utilities while having decent consistent damage output, as well as substantial Daze infliction that she can sufficiently replace a Stun unit. Her DEF ignore feature only applies on Electric DMG however subsequently limits her team options.

Build

Cissia should be built with 4pc Dawn's Bloom OR 4pc Astral Voice plus 2pc Freedom Blues (ER), focusing on Crit and ER main stats until around ~60%+ Crit R.. Her best W-Engine is Serpentine Seeker (5★), with Belicose Blaze (5★), Drill Rig-Red Axis (4★), or Marcato Desire (4★) as substitutes. After leveling up Core skill, prioritize her Basic Attack, Special Attack and Chain Attack. Her M1 is recommended for greater initial Venom stacks and DEF ignore, as well as teamwide Electric RES.

Pull Priority

From meta standpoint, she is only preferrable if you have Seed, but she is still a capable main DPS through and through. Recommend going for her W-Engine over her Mindscapes if you wish to play her as main DPS.

5. Conclusion — Is Cissia Worth Pulling?

Cissia is unfortunately not much of a meta-changing unit compared to the recent released units, but she still offers enough to stand toe-to-toe with other available DPS. With her utilities and decent Daze output, she can effectively become a pseudo-Stun unit, potentially benefitting Electric Attack units. In Seed teams for example, having Cissia allows you to free the third slot for more potent supports such as Sunna.

As she can be played as a main DPS, she is still a viable pull even if you do not have Seed.
