The Dahlia Build Guide (Honkai: Star Rail): Lightcones, Eidolon & Team Setup Recommendations
(Info Updated on 22 December 2025)

The Dahlia is a support unit in Honkai: Star Rail. Build her with Iron Calvary set and Forge set for BE boost. Equip her with Never Forget Her Flame lightcone for better utility.

The Dahlia is a Fire Nihility character in Honkai: Star Rail. She is a support designed specifically for Break archetype. Aside from DEF shred and Weakness implant, her main selling point is that she enables Super Break DMG without the need to break toughness bars. This particular aspect of hers makes her a pretty vital key unit to place Break teams back on the endgame platform.
1. Build Guide: Role, Mechanics & Team Use
Character Introduction
The Dahlia is a Fire Nihility character.
Role & Mechanics
The Dahlia is a Support, best suited in Break archetype teams. Her main selling point is that she enables Super Break DMG without the need to break toughness bars, thus solving one of the core issues Break archetype has been facing prior. Other than that, she also provides DEF shred, Weakness implant, BE & SPD boost and SP regen.
Meta Relevance
The Dahlia's kit is designed with Break archetype in mind, which unfortunately have been shafted aside due to recent endgame content's HP inflation. However, given that she circumvents one of the archetype's main issue, she could be the key to put Break teams onto the pedestal once more.
Pros & Cons
The Dahlia provides both buffs and debuffs to aid her team, while especially negating the need for breaking toughness bars. Her kit however ties her to a sole niche archetype that isn't well regarded in recent meta.
Build
The Dahlia should be built with either 4-piece Iron Calvary Against the Scourge set or 4-piece Thief of Shooting Meteor set, with Planar sets consisting of either Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern or Talia: Kingdom of Banditry. Focus on SPD and BE stats, preferably having around 145~160+ SPD and 150~200%+ BE. Her best lightcone is Never Forget Her Flame (5★), with Long Road Heads Home (5★), Lies Dance on the Breeze (5★), or Resolution Shines as Pearls of Sweat (4★) as substitutes. Her Talent and Ultimate should be your talent priorities. Her recommended early eidolon is E1, as it now applies teamwide Super Break DMG multiplier from her Talent while allowing "Dance Partners" to deal more toughness reduction.
Pull Priority
A must-pull for players wanting to revisit their investment in Break teams. If you wish to go further beyond E0, then E1 is a better stopping point rather than her lightcone.

5. Conclusion — Is The Dahlia Worth Pulling?
The Dahlia's unique mechanic allows Break teams to circumvent a core issue of the archetype, making her an important support unit, subsequently replacing certain units like Ruan Mei in existing Break teams. Among the Break DPS roster, Firefly has the greatest synergy with The Dahlia.
Whether you're a F2P player or a meta-driven competitor, if you wish to revisit your Break teams, The Dahlia will be a great option to pull for.
