Sparxie is a Fire Elation character in Honkai: Star Rail. She is a DPS unit for Elation archetype, known for her heavy SP consumption playstyle. Her playstyle revolves around consuming SP to enhance her Basic Attack, with each SP consumed boosting damage dealt by a decent amount. Of course, her kit also has several mechanics that can offset said consumption instances, therefore lessening the team's burden while ensuring her damage output uninterrupted.

1. Build Guide: Role, Mechanics & Team Use

Character Introduction

Spaxie is a Fire Elation character.

Role & Mechanics

Sparxie is a DPS of Elation archetype. She consumes SP to enhance her Basic Attack, therefore heightening her damage output. Both her enhanced Basic Attack and Elation Skill are the main sources of her damage. Despite her high SP consumption, she can offset it through her Thrill stacks and occasional SP gain from her Skill, thus reducing the burden on her team. Given a portion of her kit hints towards a mono-Elation setup, she is likely to be slotted as a sub DPS later on when a main DPS of the same archetype gets released in future patches.

Meta Relevance

Sparxie will be effective against recent endgame stages due to her being the Elation DPS for the time being.

Pros & Cons

Sparxie can deal decent damage due to her benefitting from ATK stat conversion to Elation. However, her high SP consumption ties her to limited team lineups, most of which will include Sparkle who are known for her potent SP benefits.

Build

Sparxie should be built with either 4-piece Ever-Glorious Magical Girl set or 4-piece Wavestrider Captain set, with Planar sets consisting of either Tengoku@Livestream or Rutilant Arena. Focus on ATK and Crit stats, preferably having around 3.5K+ ATK. Her best lightcone is Dazzled by a Flowery World (5★), with Mushy Shroomy's Adventures (4★), Today's Good Luck (4★), or Lingering Tears (3★) as substitutes. Her Skill, Talent and Elation Skill should be your talent priorities. Her recommended early eidolon is E2, for an extra turn, additional Thrill stacks gain and Crit DMG boost.

Pull Priority

A recommended DPS for players wanting to invest in Elation meta.

5. Conclusion — Is Sparxie Worth Pulling?

Sparxie's kit heavily hints at the possibility of a mono-Elation team, which has been proven quite the case by Castorice's Remembrance exodia team. So if you want to invest in Elation archetype OR greatly care about meta, Sparxie would be of a great value. Her high SP consumption in exchange for greater damage is her strength AND her flaw, hence units like Sparkle who can provide SP utility would be ideal to be slotted with.

Whether you're a F2P player or a meta-driven competitor, if you wish to build Elation teams, Sparxie is a great DPS to go for.
