Evanescia is a DPS unit in Honkai: Star Rail. Build her with Magical Girl set and Punklorde set. Equip her with Until the Flowers Bloom Again lightcone for better damage output.
Evanescia is a Physical Elation character in Honkai: Star Rail. She is a main Elation DPS, whose Elation DMG can be scaled from her own Crit DMG. Her damage output mainly comes from her Ultimate, which can be charged up by gaining Certified Bangers, and vice versa. Her Master Fox's attacks also inflicts Vulnerability onto enemies, further helping the team's overall damage.

Role & Mechanics
Evanescia is a DPS of Elation archetype, who can convert Crit DMG into Elation stat. Whenever she gains Certified Bangers, she will also gain Energy (and vice versa), which helps with charging up her Ultimate. Aside from her teammates, she can obtain Certified Bangers by her own through several sources: gaining Energy, Technique, Elation Skill, and conversion from teammates'. Having an innate Crit R. aside, Master Fox's attacks can inflict Vulnerability to enemy targets, thereby boosting the team's damage numbers.
Meta Relevance
Meta-wise, she is strong due to Elation shill mechanics in high end stages. Compared to Silver Wolf Lv.999, she may be less demanding for her teammates, but her damage numbers are solid and decent.
Pros & Cons
Evanescia is simple to play and isn't reliant on having a premium team comp. However, as Yao Guang remains as the core support for Elation niche, she is greatly essential for Evanescia's damage output.
Build
Enavescia should be built with either 4-piece Ever-Glorious Magical Girl set or 4-piece Scholar Lost in Erudition set, with Planar sets consisting of either Punklorde Stage Zero or Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm. Focus on Crit and SPD stats, preferably having around 200~240% Crit DMG and around 70% Crit R. Her best lightcone is Until the Flowers Bloom Again (5★), with Dazzled by a Flowery World (5★), Today's Good Luck (4★), or Mushy Shroomy's Adventures (4★) as substitutes. Her Talent, Elation Skill, Skill and Ultimate should be your talent priorities. Her recommended early eidolon is E1, for RES PEN, extra Elation Skill and additional Certified Banger gain.

A recommended DPS for players wanting to build Elation teams. E1 is recommended over her BiS Lightcone.

Best paired with Elation units (Yao Guang/EMC/etc.). Support units that can provide Energy such as Huo Huo is also a great pick for flex spots.
