Durin is a Pyro sword character.

Role & Mechanics

Durin is an off-field support DPS, capable of either shred RES or deal greater DMG. The potency of both capabilities will see a greater increase when Hexerei synergy is triggered.

Meta Relevance

Durin's flexibility aside, his role as the Pyro off-fielder makes him a great pick among meta teams. He will also be an important part of the future Hexerei teams, which will see a lot of usage in coming endgame content.

Pros & Cons

Durin has great support or DPS capabilities, granting him a wide range of flexible team options. The only caveats however, are that his full potential is locked behind Hexerei synergy and he is extremely reliant on his Burst.

Build

Durin should be built with either 4-piece Noblesse Oblige set or 4-piece Emblem of Severed Fate set, focusing on ATK, Pyro and Crit stats, preferably having around 60~70% Crit R. and 2K ATK or above. His best weapon is Athame Artis (5★), with Primodial Jade Cutter (5★), Wolf-Fang (4★), or Lion's Roar (4★) as substitutes. His Burst should be your talent leveling priority, followed by Skill. His C2 is recommended for his teamwide DMG buff utility, no matter restrictions on reactions or his dragon forms.

A must-pull for players either needing a Pyro off-fielder or hoping to build a team for future Hexerei DPS units.
